What is the Glacier Drop?
The Glacier Drop is Midnight's distribution of its NIGHT token to eligible holders across multiple networks. Claimed NIGHT does not unlock all at once — it is released gradually over a thawing period to smooth out sell pressure and reward longer-term participation.
How the unlock schedule works
- Four tranches of 25%. Your allocation unlocks in four equal parts.
- Every 90 days. After your first unlock, the remaining tranches release at +90, +180, and +270 days.
- Random start. Each address is assigned a random first-unlock date between December 10, 2025 and early March 2026.
- 360-day program window. The 90-day random-start window plus each address's 270-day schedule add up to the overall 360-day thawing period ending December 4, 2026.

- Dates are in UTC. Unlock timing is calculated in UTC; your local calendar day may differ.
- Your first-unlock date is random. Only the official claim portal shows your exact assigned date.
- Parameters can change. The schedule follows official documentation as of this writing; Midnight may adjust the rules. Verify current details on official sources.
- Mind the grace period. There is a 90-day window after thawing ends (around March 4, 2027) to claim.
